My mom was hospitalized for 3 weeks before I was born by emergency c-section at 26 weeks gestation weighing only 1 pound 12.6 ounce. I wasn’t able to snuggle with my mom at first and she was very sad to leave the hospital without me. During my NICU journey, I grew, I was taken off oxygen only to be intubated later, I got an infection and my lungs collapsed. Slowly my support was lowered and I finally reached a breathing milestone- nasal cannula. I stayed in the NICU 225 days and I love being home with my family!! Overall, I'm happy and love to play with anything that lights up and makes noise. My favorite toy is the Sesame Street piano.
